And get rid of the stupid “afternoons” on the 4pm intro. What does that even mean? Plural?

Apologies if it’s already been mentioned, but is the “national” really necessary in the new 12pm news bulletin? Just makes it convoluted. I’m sure most viewers realise that bulletins at that time of day are usually always nationally/Sydney-based certainly on the east coast.
The Noon News watermark kept appearing during the sport report on the 4PM Sydney News.

Maybe they’ve made a last minute change to 3:00am AEDT?
Katrina did saw when that slide was shown - tomorrow morning at 3am.
It’s still on delay in Adelaide - my guess is whoever made the promo must’ve thought that it would be airing live like every other major news event, sporting event, etc, and decided to put the AEDT tag onto the time without checking.
Will Seven National News take over and the local buletins be gone?
Someone’s done a copy and paste from the 12pm bulletin rundown without checking.
I’m not sure what else you expected. It was pretty clear from the get-go that this hour long bulletin was hidden as a cost cutting measure to axe local Adelaide and Perth bulletins.
I’m surprised they even bothered with an insert.
The only real news option in Perth during the day now seems to be the ABC news channel where it’s live around the country.
I wonder what Mr Stokes thinks, since he is normally so protective of Perth…
9 Should seize the opportunity and bring back their local morning news.
They need to make a 4-5 minute local window for each capital city so nobody misses any news items or segments
For the only commercial network with news-gathering resources in regional WA, it beggars belief that they’re not even partially capitalising on that unique point of difference for WA editions of national bulletins.
Side question, are the Sunrise Perth News inserts still a thing?
Yes every 1/2 hr
Reckon he’s more worried about Seven’s debt
They’ve never utilised regional Queensland either, outside of disasters and cyclones.
The local windows should be at the top of the bulletin then go to the national stuff after that.
Seven obtained an in-house interview with the Prime minster on the Noon News.
As in they got an exclusive interview? Not sure what obtaining an in house interview means otherwise.
