Should be Seven News at Noon or Seven Midday News.

Try saying that seven times quickly. Great tongue teister.

Since the bulletin is national - that makes it National Noon News - try saying that fast

Imagine if Nine did follow suit and moved its morning news to midday - it would be called “National Nine Noon News”! Now how’s that for alliteration!

You’re watching Nine’s National Noon News :face_vomiting:

This should just be Seven News at 12 or Seven’s Midday News.

Should be called Seven News at 12

Might be an unpopular idea, but what about Seven moving The Latest brand to the 12pm bulletin?

Seven did say that the new bulletin will apparently include:

Which to be sounds a bit familiar to how The Latest was when it first started. If your going to have a brand like The Latest may as well put it in a time that people can see it.

The late bulletin would become Seven Late News.

The Latest page has been removed from 7Plus.

Maybe it isn’t returning this year?

or bring back The Daily Edition :joy:

I wouldn’t read anything into that. The Morning Show’s page has also disappeared, similarly because no episodes have aired recently.

(Yes, there is a similar page branded for TMS Summer Series, but I consider that separate to the normal show).

Can’t wait for the tie-in with 7News in their promotions

I wonder if the local afternoon news editions are back today.

Mike Amor did a local update and said to join him live from Melbourne at 4pm

Very much on a Summer break at the moment, hence no new editions and the removal of the page. It’ll be back soon.

It was just like how the 7NEWS Regional QLD pages disappeared with no new bulletins being broadcast, but that was because they only took a 1-week break for Xmas.

Nice to see Hugh presenting

New city skyline backdrop for Melbourne’s Afternoon News.

Seven News Melbourne are copping a lot of criticism on social media for airing footage in a sports report last night that was not taken by them, yet they didn’t give credit to the original publisher.

The comments on this X post and across X more broadly are quite scathing, and rightly so.
