I will say his weather segments were pretty damn good. Weather on a normal day isn’t serious so a bit of humour during the weather is fine.

It become excruciating, you could tell he was just rocking up at stuff and trying to be funny. Do not miss it.
Mark Humphries for Sydney’s Seven News? How bizarre! He is more suited for Sunrise, The Morning Show and the defunct Daily Edition and Today, rather than actual news. What is Seven thinking?

I don’t think that a Mark Humphries comedy segment really suits a straight news bulletin. I get the impression that it will be similar to his skits on 7:30. They are more suited to a current affairs program like 7:30 or A Current Affair late in the week (thinking about Clarke and Dawe here as well), but I suppose Seven don’t have a current affairs program, so it has to go into the bulletin if they want it.
