If only they could extend the set a bit further to the left/right. That dark space on the side is quite depressing to look at.

They just need to alter the angles they’re using to hide it a bit more.
I remember it was the same with the old Sydney set in 2016. The wideshots looked hideous with all the black space.

Yeah cause it ends up looking just like a wall plonked there. Even if they just have a light box behind those angles, doesn’t need to be anything fancy, even a basic panel like Melbourne uses would work.

Much better than the ones they use at 6pm where the desk sits isolated in the middle of the floor. This was very interesting and the dual live backgrounds worked surprisingly well.
