Seven News Content and Appearance (2020-Feb 2025)

Not to say Seven Sydney doesn’t come up with some scoops of their own sometimes - although it’s quite hard to find them now.

Jeez…did the designers just give up when it came to the website?

Yuck :face_vomiting:

It is from Perth, so it is to be expected.

I clicked on here with some excitement as the presentation since the curved metal days has been horrendous.

It appears to be getting worse as times goes on. It just appears way to Gordy. Hurts my eyes looking at it. I feel like I get a migraine watching it.

This live streaming banner is quite nice with the red and white logo. Would be nice if this was some how incorporated in the package

There’s been zero local reaction or fall out from the
Axing of adelaides 4pm news and screening the Melbourne news in place?

I saw no local press or social media fall out

Went by un-noticed…?

Well, it took me 2 seconds on google to find an article from an Adelaide news outlet about it…

The refresh beginning to get cohesive. Those who hated Melbourne’s “@ 4PM” will be pleased somewhat to see the symbol gone at least.

Impressed with some of the newer elements and would like to see those carried through if a major revision finally happens.

While that is true - there is now 7News at Four so…

Fergo and Mitch can’t believe how bad the graphics refresh is… :open_mouth:

I mean, damn the listings, it’s still an accurate title!

The Gold Coast’s desk got a logo upgrade on Wednesday.

The old titlecard was used in tonight’s Melbourne bulletin:

The logo animation is better in the old title card than the current one. Having the 7 and NEWS fly in slightly separately then join makes the logo more animated instead of just having the whole logo do a plain zoom.

And I think that both the logo and the diagonal glass move a bit too quickly in the new logo. The animation on the desk is also too fast.
