It’s not necessarily Seven claiming exclusive. It’s just regular watermarking by both networks? I’m unsure if Seven had the footage first but then that would have also been unnecessary for Nine to watermark.
Also interesting that Nine is using old watermarks.

Can you blame me for having Chris & Jim banter as a point of how good (or at least better than they are now) Seven News Sydney used to be when they almost gave Pete & Ken on Nine - who of course, were very good at banter themselves - a run for their money?!
Although it’s arguable that Pete & Cam aren’t quite as good as Pete & Kenny were or Georgie & Cam were on weekend bulletins back in the day, they’re still miles better than the general awkwardness that is Mark Ferguson & Mel McLaughlin on Seven News Sydney these days! And while Michael Usher & Matt Shirvington aren’t that bad at bantering themselves, it’s hardly anything to write home about even compared to GG & Erin!

God I miss Jim Wilson. Coming to think of it now, he had good chemistry on-screen with Michael, and they had a mutual admiration that showed on-air.

I don’t think anyone has mentioned it, but they have changed the weather map colour to a darker shade of blue. Seemed like it happened 1 or maybe 2 weeks after the graphic refresh.
