Bizarre first story re Polair which was more a promo for a behind the scenes story on Polair tomorrow. The first car chase featured happened 3 days ago, the others, old news.

Watching a stream via Plus7. Has it started yet? I set the postcode to a Gold Coast address so I could watch it, but The Chase Australia is on. Is that right?

Basically a slightly scaled down version of Brisbane’s news set. We’ve seen far worse sets before, but it isn’t that great either IMO. And yes, the graphics package is awful! Update it already, Seven!

No. That’s the Brisbane stream. There isn’t a GC stream. Diverts to Brisbane.

As far as I’m aware, no. Nine’s Gold Coast News doesn’t stream online either, although both probably should.

That’s been back in Perth since they moved to Osborne Park! No idea why though, they had the current transition noise before the switch.

There was a technical hitch with the surf/beach report and that led (I think) to a very long closing theme being played.
If you don’t want to see the sport and weather, go straight to 3:52 for a full one minute closer (and turn up the volume).

That makes the current theme sound so much better! A lot more of the theme played than it is currently 
Yeah, even after hearing that extended bit of the current theme music, I still can’t help but feel there’s something missing from it compared to previous versions. Maybe it needs more instrumentation? I don’t know…
