Stupid note: rare to see a Brisbane-anchored newscast with the ticker. I know the show was switched from Sydney, though.
I’m sure Queenslanders who see her every weekend (and regularly enough on weeknights during the year) will have a different opinion, but personally I think Katrina Blowers’ presenting style is a little on the awkward side going by what I saw this morning.
Yup, its huge! But at least it’s a lot nicer than the rubbish that 7Perth have dished up!
What I don’t like about Seven News at 4 right now is that there is a story on what you can and can’t do during the stage 3 lockdowns…
Except here in SA we’re in stage 3 of opening everything up. I need to know about VIC having 428 new cases, but I don’t need to hear that I have to stay in my suburb when that’s not the case.

I can’t keep up with the 5PM news, one week there is a ticker, the next they adopt the Sydney 6PM opener, followed by sport in the newsroom then the next week it’s all back to normal…
A bit of consistency would be nice on that front.
There was a national news update with Angela Tsun around 8:40pm
And Angela also did the promo update for The Latest in the final ad break before the program. This aired around 9:02pm (and promoted a start time of 9pm, when it was actually 9:11pm). Also they said Michael Usher would host when it was in fact Mel Doyle:
Any reason as to why Angela Tsun presented this news update, does it usually come out of Perth?
It does come out of Perth sometimes, particularly if theres likely to be breaking news or updates. The Latest was likely busy setting up for the Falconio special.
Also perth was probably all set up as their 6pm news didnt air until 7pm (9pm AEST)
