Adelaide just had a 7 News update and the bed is the same style as the afternoon news weather sting (but longer). Normally at this time of the day the updates would use the regular news bed. Hmm…

All of our updates and previews still have their old music here in Melbourne…
Looks like a new mission theme coming!
However still think the graphics are going to remain the same 
They still use that for updates. Someone recognises how dumb it is to use the dusk skyline backdrop in the afternoon but thinks it’s acceptable at 6pm in the middle of summer.

Usually they switch to the 6pm backdrop after 5pm.

Theme is great, bit of a mix up of NBC and ITV with the chimes.
Voiceover is hilarious. Set has potential but lacks substance IMO.

Yeah, that makes no sense.
Don’t like the new opening theme to be honest.
Dusk backdrop doesn’t work when it’s broad daylight outside.
