I don’t understand the latest fad (on Nine and Seven) of doing a full-body shot of the anchor at the desk when there is no OTS. The close-up, as seen above, looks much better.

Noticed Mike Amor started in his live cross with “Hi Mark” to Peter Mitchell, but then thanked Peter in his end tag.
Oh well it’s bound to happen. Sydney and Melbourne must be seconds apart in their live crosses.

I can only assume it’s got to do with the angular glass looking panels as a background behind the 7 News Logo and the presenter in the mock news bulletin.
Took me a while to figure it out myself…
Sevens desk footage is the same as the one from some TV show or movie (just the colours are increased). Indicating it was unsurprisingly taken from some stock footage website.
…And??? Templates are every where!
