Surely the VFL Grand Final warrants main channel coverage in preference to women’s regular season games?
Agreed - even Seven Adelaide is shifting a local game to 7Mate for the SANFL Grand Final
Coming very soon are Australia’s Most Dangerous Prisoners, the second season of Alert: Missing Persons Unit and the return of Ambulance: Code Red
Season 3 is coming back in some time in Jan. same as the rookie. So I can see 7 showing season 2 after season 6 of Rookie ends airing on Mondays but that’s in about 7-8 weeks, so maybe S2 returns on a Tuesday slot?
Yes
Replacing the stupid Bondi show I assume?
Made in Bondi was already moving to the 10pm slot the week before so will just remain there

The people in that show are unbelievable. The men especially pretentious and entitled. I could only stomach one episode.
Just like the management who run the network that commissioned it
Can’t comment on that, never seen them in person or met them, but these young men act like spoilt brats with mega egos.
Sorry if this has been asked but do we know what’s coming up after The Voice and My Kitchen Rules?
I haven’t seen anything announced or confirmed for the slot that Big Brother had last year.
Judging by this image from their Upfronts press release, they still have SAS Australia - however some sources say it’s been axed, Middleton says it hasn’t, and Seven hasn’t said confirmed nor denied any rumours.
If they follow the same format of The Voice from last year (not sure if they have as I don’t watch), they will have 5 episodes left, which will take them through until approx. 20 October.
If they follow the same format of MKR from last year (again, not sure if they have as I don’t watch that either), they will have 10 episodes left, which will take them through until 23 October.
Assuming SAS will have the same amount of episodes of last year if they go through with it (10 Episodes), then they can burn it off Sunday-Tuesday for three weeks, with a single final episode on a Sunday, taking them through to 17 November - just before ratings finish.
However, given there is a lack of promotion for SAS if it is going ahead, then Seven could bring forward Stranded on Honeymoon Island (was due to air this year, but has reportedly been moved to 2025 following one of the male contestants having been caught in legal trouble for stalking a female contestant).
They also have new Aussie First dates to air - a number of shows in the pic above may have also not aired yet, so they may use those.
I’m also fairly confident that Seven will slot in double and triple episodes of Home and Away to fill any gaps created by any shows being dropped.
Additional note regarding Stranded on Honeymoon Island, for whatever, reason - a UK version has now been commissioned - by the BBC of all places.
Any reason why 7’s isn’t finishing round 1 of the MKR instant restaurants tmr and starting the next round next week Tuesday? Is it to essentially drag out the show longer?
Most likely - they no longer have Big Brother, and as I mentioned above - SAS Australia is still up in the air as to if it is even going to air this year.
Also, Seven are airing the Brownlow Medal in SA, WA and VIC on the main channel, so other states will receive 1% Club UK
There are six more episodes left in this season of The Voice (2 more battles, then 2 knockouts, semi final and grand final). If Seven elects to air a new episode on Sunday October 6 against the NRL grand final, that will take The Voice to October 27. If not, The Voice finale will be shown on November 3. Either way, Seven will try to avoid having The Voice finale clashing with the high rating auction finale of The Block on the same night.
Further update.
Seven has decided that one hour of news is too much at 8pm on a Saturday night so in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide it will be a 30 minute bulletin followed by the movie. No change to Perth where the news is at 6pm local time.
I just discovered the current season of America’s Got Talent is being shown alongside the US on 7Plus.
Did we know this? Was it advertised?
And it’s been somewhat fast tracked too.
