I think Seven has the rights to some but not all Warner Bros movies. It also has rights to most movies released by Disney, Universal and Sony. Ten still has the rights to 20th Century Fox movies and will really need them, after Nine secured rights to movies from MGM (e.g. 007 franchise), Paramount and Dreamworks.

Wait… So Ch 10 has lost the rights to Paramount? Completely?

I thought we’d already covered this in many threads. The networks got out of their exclusive contracts with studios.

Please elaborate? That’s the first I’ve heard of it.

I knew some networks had changed distribution deals

They’ve all renegotiated or cut their output deals over the last few years.

Millions to be saved as Seven ditches output deals in bid to ‘cherry-pick’ hits

This is also why you’ve seen shows like Saturday Disney and Kids’ WB get axed this year.

That’s Why Seven have just Two New US Shows for 2017, Both from Warner Brothers, That’s why Seven are cutting back on US Output.

Exactly.

Seven’s EPG has stuffed-up in Melbourne.

7HD showing 7Mate programs (when it should be showing main channel programs)?..

Wish we had that problem in perth as in 7 hd

The only way to see a channel 7 program in HD is if it turns up on Netflix. Or move interstate.
