Interesting. I presume that Nine didn’t bother renewing it’s contract for the NSW Schools Spectacular (which I believe was a longtime ABC stalwart up until about 2011 or 2012) and that Seven has the rights now?
Yep, Seven has replaced Nine as a sponsor of this year’s NSW Schools Spectacular according to the event’s website. However, it seems that the event will be shown in different states on different dates unlike past years when it aired nationally on the same night.
Is “20 to 1” Seven News special only in Melbourne on Wednesday night?
Or were seperate editions recorded with Peter Mitchell & Mark Ferguson respectively?
There will be separate versions for each major capital city, the presenters will be the main faces of Seven News in each market.
Are they expecting this to rate?
Are you expecting an answer to this?
Well my sentence ended with a question mark didn’t it?
I’m not sure if Seven expect to get a combined 1 million viewers out of the localised “10 to 1: Countdown our Greatest News Events” specials, but I suspect that they’ll probably still rate better than what Nine and Ten are showing in the timeslot on Wednesday night.
New Schedule for tomorrow
07:30 PM First Dates Season Final
08:40 PM Seven News Special: 10 to 1: Countdown Our Greatest News Events
10:05 PM The Blacklist x 2
12:00 AM Hannibal
And in typical Ch 7 fashion approaching Christmas…
LOVE ACTUALLY
(8:30pm Friday after BH&G, must be the 1000th broadcast of the movie now?)
Is there any reason Home and Away is continuing into the non-ratings period this year?
Because it always does. They usually only take 6 weeks off every year.
The final episode of the four-part Saved will be shown Monday 12 December at 11:00PM.
Previously years h& a have finished at the end of the rating period
But this year has to make up the 2 weeks lost during the olympics
Last ep this year 19 Dec
