Has this kind of coverage been on main FTA channels before? Looks like an expansion in Seven’s coverage, is Racing.com showing the same or do they have other events?
Kath & Kim set the date for their superlative television event
Join the party at 4 Lagoon Court, Fountain Lakes where hornbags Kath and Kim are celebrating 20 years of being classy with a superlative two-night television event, starting Sunday, 20 November on Channel 7 and 7plus.
Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life features freshly minted scenes with Kath, Kim, Sharon, Kel, Bretty, Marion, Prue and Trude, as well as some never-before-seen moments and too many bloopers and blunders to count on a washing glove-covered hand.
Coming along for the “roide of their loives” are Kylie Minogue, Michael Bublé, Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting, Carson Kressley, Eric Bana, Stephen K. Amos, Matt Lucas, Mick Molloy, Stephen Page, Tony Martin, Richard E. Grant, Barry Humphries and a former Prime Minister.
This first part of the 20-year celebration also features a special tribute to Shane Warne, laugh-out-loud highlights from events such as the Logies and the AFL Grand Final – and oh em gee – an 18-year-old Chris Hemsworth pashes on with Kath and Kimmy.
The following night sees the foxy ladies joined by a myriad of friends and stars to take a look deep inside the nooks and unexplored crannies of the Kath & Kim universe in Kath & Kim: 20 Preposterous Years.
Along the way, there will be more rarely-seen vision and goofs from the archives and hilarious behind-the-scenes highlights, dug out from more than 1,000 tapes and 240 shoot days.
Kath & Kim: Our Effluent Life: Premieres Sunday, 20 November at 7.00pm
Followed by Kath & Kim: 20 Preposterous Years – Monday, 21 November at 7.30pm
riveting television.
Going head to head against Lego Masters Christmas special. I was expecting Kath & Kim special to air on Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday that week.
It probably has considering Seven’s expanded horse racing rights agreement is now a year and a bit old.
Regarding Racing.com, it’ll show the Ballarat races but not the other two since it only has the rights for Victorian and South Australian horse racing.
Adjustments to Saturday’s afternoon schedule for the AFLW semis finals. (Syndey and Brisbane will carry the games on 7Mate).

The start of the Adelaide v Collingwood game was pushed back to 4.10pm AEDT due to lightning.
Seven News is now in danger of missing its 6pm start time in Melbourne.
7mate now running an extended quarter-time ad break. The connection/reception cut out just after the quarter-time siren sounded.
EDIT: Coverage is now back. There will be a 20 or 30-minute quarter-time break.
Apparently quarter time break will be at least 20min long due to more lightning in the area.
The match is planned to resume at 4.40pm local time (5.10pm AEDT).
Looks like match broadcast may have to move to 7mate in order to allow Seven News Melbourne to start on time.
I don’t think they would do this, it would be bad PR and draw complaints from the PC and feminist crowd.
OK, I was wrong. The game is moving to 7mate at 5:30pm.
Border Security starting at 5.30pm as scheduled.
Seven execs obviously didn’t want to cop the ratings hit.
A non-issue with 7mate now in HD

In this nostalgic and joyful one-off special, we tell the stories behind the greatest ABBA covers of all time, by some of the biggest artists in the world – and look in fascinating detail at what inspired these amazing artists to create their versions, how they treated the songs and how they brought their own unique spin to each ABBA classic.
Music experts and fans including Dannii Minogue, and the artists themselves – including Andy Bell of Erasure, Neil Arthur of Blancmange, Carla Bruni and Adrian Utley of Portishead – give us their take on their versions, along with super-producer William Orbit, who talks us through a lost cover by Madonna.
Another one-off ABBA special from Channel 5 previously scheduled for 5 October but replaced at the last minute by Highway Patrol repeats.

Seems that Seven is keeping its options open in regards to Australia’s Got Talent grand final, with Sunday 8.10pm and Tuesday 7.30pm timeslots TBA.
Don’t understand why they won’t show AGT on Sunday and have the Kath & Kim specials over Monday and Tuesday to fill their schedule and give them further momentum across the week.
