If only Seven could air the equivalent of Schools Spectacular in the other states. Then they can air each of them in their respective states on the main channel in primetime. Everyone wins.
Whereas hardly anyone from another state would care about a NSW event.
Might as well say that Carols by Candlelight should be on 9Gem in states other than Victoria. I’m not sure why are people so against Domain. Apart from the quality, surely Carols in the Domain has been a longtime tradition and deserves national exposure like the Melbourne counterpart?

I think Carols on both networks are fine despite the geographical location, they’re not hyper-local in the same way as state high school performances are.

Do you mean end of the offical ratings period? That was yesterday. Technically all networks ratings finished yesterday but as we’ve learnt the past few years ratings really matter all year around!

Judging by the guides for next week, it’s evident they don’t care anymore.
However that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t care.
Streaming will increase over the next two months by a lot. FTA shouldn’t really be letting that happen as people might not come back come February.
