Oh, for sure. I don’t disagree with this at all. But the tent poles have long gone from being the anchor of the night to being the only thing the network cares about. NZ’s local reality (not as many shows as Australia) manages to fit into an hour and set up the rest of the night.

I know it probably won’t happen soon but when will the media stop their obsession with them?
Ugh. Who cares?
So true and how sad.

Silly silly. Why are they wasting 3 episodes of Home and Away?
A full week of main channel movies LOL (And I’m taking the piss here). Effortless lame line-up here.
So, the news specials (which you said actually rated higher than Forrest Gump) lasted a long time… Not! Already back to movie re-runs?
The doyen that was a classic on 10…
Aside from that, that’s a pretty lean schedule.
I find it odd that Seven are back to airing episodes of Home and Away from this week onwards. I thought that Seven would still continue to stagger the season.
Isn’t once enough?!
Fucking hell. There is nothing on that schedule that will get more than 500k
One week 8:30 and three hours long the next week 7:30 and an hour. Its very strange scheduling for a show that is lifting their Wednesday audience quite significantly.
House Rules might just stay above the 500K mark (and maybe Home and Away on Thursday) but yes the rest won’t fare well.
Nine isn’t looking too much better (though they do have Lego, 60, Paramedics to fall back on) with their schedule. Surprisingly 10 has the best schedule of all networks.
House Rules has been as has Talent. And Home and Away is often above 600k.
How is it a waste? Don’t you want new content rather than even more repeats?
Is this a serious question?
Obviously it’s in their best interest to spread out the episodes as much as possible as who knows when they can film again. We might run out of episodes.
Maybe 7 don’t really mind if they run out of episodes. Especially since AFL might end up 7 days a week in primetime.
I can’t see that happening. Surely they won’t want it to have another break. Especially one where they will have no idea how long it’ll be.
