“My Road to Adventure” cracked the top 20 in the tv ratings yesterday.

So, in Melbourne it aired at 5.30pm (other “AFL cities” too?). In Sydney, it aired at 3.30pm, while Border Security repeats aired at 5.30pm.

@TV.Cynic you sure it isn’t The Proposal (2009)?

Could be - the guide info from Seven says 2015 but the description matches 2009.

A triple-episode opener for Home and Away? That must be a first?

Id rather have these 90-minute episodes at the beginning of the year, and as the finale, and not much in between.

It’s probably cause they’ll be off for 2 weeks during the Olympics but are still committed to 230 episodes a year.

There will be heaps of doubles and triples this year I’d imagine.

Aaah, yes, the Olympics. How on earth did I forget about that? lol.

I was thinking more with AFL and various Thursday night games.

You’re probably right. More double and triple eps for the Olympics. Now makes sense.

I expect Temptation Island USA to be bumped to 9.40pm or later from February.

Seven’s Queensland-based lifestyle shows, which were axed in late November 2019, will be back next month with sponsors taking up the bill. Creek to Coast will return on Saturday February 8 at the new time of 5.30pm, while an amalgamated version of Queensland Weekender and The Great South East, titled Weekender, will premiere on Sunday, February 9, also at 5.30pm.

Good to hear that Creek to Coast is returning, and a revamped Queensland Weekender/ Great South East .

Btw, does anyone know when the final episode of Sydney Weekender will be airing?

I personally wouldn’t be surprised if the final episode of Sydney Weekender goes to air (if it hasn’t already?) without any fanfare whatsoever, perhaps a quick message at the end but that’s about it.

Considering Seven copped a fair bit of negative PR over the cancellation of these local shows, you would have thought they might have attempted to organise this solution BEFORE axing them, not 2 months after.

That’s great news

MKR returning next Sunday at 7, then continues Mon/Tue/Wed

Maybe they did but there wasn’t the interest until after it was announced with the resulting PR.
