Saturday November 27 is the night of WBBL grand final. One would think the match will be shown live on main channel in most states, and 7mate in WA.

Reckon that might struggle in the ratings. Seven should be airing the special tomorrow night, not next Sunday.
We live in an age now where Australian networks can’t delay by hours airing shows/specials which air overseas, let alone nearly a week. Considering the special airs tomorrow afternoon AEDT, Adele fans who want to watch it will find a way to watch it tomorrow - they’re not going to wait 6 days until Seven eventually gets around to showing it.

I can’t see it doing any worse than the 450-500k 7 currently gets for 7News Spotlight.

Unfortunately Big Brother VIP takes priority. And if the Adele special airs tomorrow night I think it will be thrashed by the likes of Parental Guidance and HYBPA in the ratings.

They would get much higher ratings than 300k if they aired the Adele concert tomorrow, much better demo performance too. And can’t see either of the two shows you mentioned being huge competition.

Which from what I can tell is a repeat of a concert she did 5 years ago for her 25 album - neatly packaged to look new. I thought it was the ITV special at first.
Considering Seven airing the test pattern would probably attract more viewers than Big Brother VIP, don’t think there would have been much resistance if the decision was made to bump it for a night.

If either Heat or Strikers (or both) make the final, surely the match will have to be on main channel in Brisbane or Adelaide. Heat are currently second on the WBBL table, Strikers are fourth. Top 4 qualify for the finals.
