Adele One Night Only

International superstar returns with exclusive interview and performance

The Grammy award-winning megastar returns to the stage for first time in six years in Adele One Night Only , premiering 7.00pm Sunday, 21 November on Channel 7 and 7plus.

Filmed at the iconic Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, the two-hour event offers the first opportunity for fans to hear music from Adele’s latest album 30 live, alongside her beloved, chart-topping hits.

The prime time special will also feature an exclusive interview with Adele by Oprah Winfrey from her famous rose garden, providing Adele’s first televised conversation about the new album, revealing the stories behind the songs, discussing life after divorce, her weight loss and raising her son.

The exclusive performance set list:

Hello
Easy On Me
Skyfall
I Drink Wine
Someone Like You
When We Were Young
Make you Feel My Love
Hold On
Rolling In The Deep
Love Is A Game

Adele One Night Only is produced by Fulwell 73 Productions and Onward Productions in association with Harpo Productions. Executive producers are Ben Winston, Adele, Jonathan Dickins and Raj Kapoor.

Extended highlights of this aired on the project with slabs of the interview and snippets of performances. Accessed from CBS. Interesting they’ve done this. It promotes the seven show but also given the segment for a while it’s a bit of a spoiler.

If either Heat or Strikers (or both) make the final, surely the match will have to be on main channel in Brisbane or Adelaide. Heat are currently second on the WBBL table, Strikers are fourth. Top 4 qualify for the finals.

More tweaks to Seven’s schedule - this week and next.

AGT bumped to a later timeslot on Thursday. SWAT moved to later on Sunday with final delayed a week.
Big Brother final shortened.

Will this be the 1973 made-for-television movie starring Cathy Lee Crosby, the 2009 direct-to-DVD animated feature voiced by Keri Russell or the 2017 theatrical release starring Gal Gadot?

It will be the Gal Gadot version.

Could be a double episode of the 1970s Lynda Carter series. The Gal Godot movies are garbage. There’ll never be a better Wonder Woman than Lynda.

For non-ratings standards, it could be much worse. At least there’s some new content on Thursday with The Front Bar then the Sport Australia Hall of Fame special.

Not total garbage. There is new content on most nights; with Motorway Patrol and 9-1-1 (Monday); Unbelievable Moments on Cameral - aka “filler” (Tuesday); Ambulance Code Red and America’s Got Talent Final (Wednesday); and Nurses, The Front Bar and Sports Hall of Fame (Thursday)

Most of those shows would not appeal to the majority of people under the age of 40-50.

they wouldn’t be watching TV, or Channel Seven, anyway

Motorway Patrol - Season 17

From Monday 29 November at 8:00PM

Buckle yourself in for the ride because Kiwi favourite, Motorway Patrol, is set for a return to our screens this month.

Series 17 is packed with another round of motorway pandemonium and driver hijinx as those who drive on Auckland’s motorways never fail to deliver when Motorway Patrol’s cameras are rolling.

This series features a fresh batch of rollicking good yarns; high speed chases starring both cars and canines, overloaded drivers, Rugby World Cup delight and, just to keep it interesting, a car vs swimming pool.

Not only does the show have total access to the men and woman officers who are patrolling our motorways but also, like last series, the Motorway Team has access to CCTV footage from the motorway cameras.

‘The ATOMS footage is now an integral part of the show,’ says Producer, Kate Fraser, ’and with so many motorway cameras out there recording all the time – so many of our stories are much more spectacular because of it.’

Tune in to Motorway Patrol and catch an entertaining glimpse into the working world of the Road Policing Team as they deal with the daily dramas the Auckland motorways throw their way.

Episode 1: Tonight, two elderly pedestrians take a wrong turn and dice with death, a taxi driver dumps his passengers on the motorway and police track a car filled with suspected crims.
