I think Seven’s schedule (with their shares last week Thursday to Saturday) suggests the main channel programs in Sydney, Brisbane and Perth are just ‘something to air’ without too much thought/effort put in? Similar to Nine’s programs in AFL markets on these nights.
Well mainly just for Sydney and Brisbane I suppose with Perth audiences more directed to AFL like Adelaide [and Melbourne]

Captain america the first avenger is from 2011 not 2015.
Looks like this will be the first of several full delayed Crows games on FTA in Adelaide. Though I would like to think it would make sense given it would feed into the Freo vs Port game which will be live.
Seven just shouldn’t bother showing delayed games. It is an insult to fans that the AFL lick the feet of Foxtel and force this on to Seven who agreed to it.
This movie was shown last night and got low ratings.
No surprise here.
When you repeat them over and over again, it starts to get a little stale.
Seven’s guide says Captain America 2015 - so take tour pick as to what movie they are showing!
Not as outrageous as The Proposal (2015)
That movie is from 2009!
Don’t be too harsh! The people who prepare the guides are being replaced - possibly next week I think.
Source?
Ok thanks for the source
Strange they wouldn’t drop the Sunday movie with such poor ratings after heavy promotion, especially slated for every week.
Maybe it did something in the key demos, after BB @TV.Cynic?b
Like Moving The Blacklist up Earlie
Not sure where to post this - but with Sydney Weekender still airing on Sundays at 5.30pm (it’s a “best-of”/“highlights” type show now isn’t it?), i wonder if it will start again with new episodes again anytime soon? (Wishful thinking, i know). As am sure that the travel-deal-stories they air would wear thin quite soon?
It’s in the schedule and not marked as a repeat.
Wasn’t Sydney Weekender axed late last year? Mind you, I don’t know how far in advance the stories for the show are/were produced but can’t imagine there have been too many opportunities to film content for such travel shows recently with all these restrictions!
All editions of the Weekender shows were axed in November 2019. In January 2020, there was an announcement that Seven was reinstating the Queensland Weekender edition after viewer backlash.
This article said that Sydney Weekender remained axed. Not sure if anything changed after that.
