Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

@Sully

But Gogglebox in the same time slot on a less watched network got 4 times the audience.

So, Modern is a so-so performer for Seven in 25-54 for a post 9pm show then

Short promo appeared tonight during Better Homes and Gardens, featuring a bearded Cousins.

Of course, we can’t forget this two-part documentary which aired in the lead-up to Ben Cousins’ retirement match.

IIRC, one or both parts of the documentary rated well for Seven.

A late change to the Seven schedule was received late Friday. However not all markets were received. The changes have been extrapolated to the rest of the network. Pooch Perfect had been scheduled for Wednesday with triple Home and Away on Thursday. Also note that the episode length of The Front Bar differs from 60 minutes to 90 on some schedules - 90 probably reflects how long the show will run

I wonder if this change is due to last week’s big drop and disappointing result, going up against Married would surely be a shocker on Wednesday. But they have to continue airing it, so have stuck to Thursday, what happens with the Home and Away back-log in various markets now due to AFL?

Also, Highway Patrol “S11” suggests 2019 (last year) meaning that season didn’t finish? It was reported that the show had been one of Seven’s multiple axings due to budget cuts by James Warburton, however the network straight away denied that but did only say “new ‘specials’ will be (or have been) produced” for 2020.

Home and Away will be shown on 7Two on Thursdays in AFL markets.

I corrected not to now (typo).

Probably not great for loyal fans nor the show’s average ratings, however at least H&A will still air and should boost 7Two’s shares (ratings for BH&G and H&A when on 7Two in Melbourne are usually big, towards 100k in that market alone).

Probably.

Had Pooch Perfect sustained higher ratings, I’m sure they’d try and run the program before The Front Bar on Wednesday night in Melbourne & Adelaide (with the other three metro markets which get AFL on 7mate likely continuing to see Pooch Perfect on Thursdays, one would imagine) in lieu of a Highway Patrol + First Dates repeat.

I’m not sure that’s a repeat, looks like the next first-run ep from the latest season (as alluded to before)? But agreed, as seen with Nine’s poor ratings for first-run RBT in recent weeks, factuals just don’t rate like they used to (except Paramedics and I guess Taronga Zoo too)

Of course I was referring to the Wednesday 8pm episode of Highway Patrol, which is designated as a repeat unlike the 7.30pm one.

So are the longer Monday bulletins of The Latest because the new feature interviews, Turning Point, will only be on Mondays?

Much better Wednesday line up.
But The Latest at 11.25 on Thursdays is way too late

Is The Latest live, pre-recorded or changes depending when it suits Seven?

Because nights of The Front Bar, which always runs overtime and there’s already a split schedule, making havoc if it were live on such nights.
