2016 right after Rio 2016 did 1m+ metro and hovered around 800-900k IIRC.

This will now obviously not be a saviour after the network has continued to lose weeks, even Thursdays-Saturdays haven’t been as strong (even losing some - no AFL partly to blame I guess).

Zumbo will barely do better than current Bride and Prejudice IMO (and that’s a compliment :joy:)

Why is this not at 7pm like the other Harry Potter’s have been? Only theory is if it’s rated M and were unable to edit satisfactorily down to PG (which happens often with MA movies)?

Foxtel advanced guide showing Sunday Night still in schedule on Sunday November 24 after the cricket test. Unless these will be re-packaged repeats?

What’s even stranger is how Nine have the rights to every Star Wars movie, including the most recent movie The Last Jedi, but not to The Force Awakens.

It’s because Seven were licenced the movie in 2017 and have a certain amount of runs (as with any movie), when they were still at the end of their old Disney output.

The other Star Wars were aired on Seven back in 2015 (when The Force Awakens was in cinemas) and were together under a separate licencing paclage, last aired in 2017 when they premiered The Force Awakens.

Nine now picked up those rights under their Disney deal this year, as well as FTA premiere of Rogue One.

NB/ Nine will have to wait until Seven’s runs of The Force Awakens have lapsed before they can be licenced. Whether Nine will have the rights in the future or even continue with a Disney content supply agreement remains to be seen.

Factual series The Force narrated by Simon Reeve, has been axed after 14 years.

The Force, like many Factual programs across the board, rated well a decade ago. Now days, they are used as fillers on our main channels, and are repeated regularly on the multi-channels (sometimes rating well on these channels).

Border and The Force performed best in their original Tuesday timeslot, where it often rated over 2m. Here’s one example.

I wonder how many episodes of Zumbo will air the following week if the day/night test against Pakistan finishes early?
Also, Beyond the Boundary is the 2-part special commissioned by Seven on Australia women’s team’s successful quest to win the women’s Ashes in England earlier this year.

Why is it Seven never release their movie titles until Monday afternoon (i.e.) most likely guess for those Sunday and Tuesday “TBAs” and the same happens for the Friday night and Saturday 7pm movie every week?

Yet Nine and 10 seem to have no problem releasing theirs on Sunday morning.

Thursday - BHAG Season final
Two shows wrapping up before the end of 2019 ratings season.
The day/night test will draw much substantial prime time shares over the East Coast. This year, Channel 7 was hit hard by Nine in the ratings season. But I think that next week, Seven will have an easy win over Nine.

Only came out early last year, usually FTA premieres are still at least 2+ years wait. This one’s early, which is good to see and as it should be.
