Could this be a reference to the 7Two repeats? I’m sure they were up to Season 9 when they were pulled earlier this year. A “season” never starts mid-year.

Maybe they didn’t have defined seasons previously? For a show like H&A, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t use the term, or went with the year as the season number instead.

I think they always did as an identifier with Screen Australia. When Screen Australia lists all the upcoming productions they specifically say Neighbours Season 33, Home & Away Season 30 etc.

ABC showed the NSW Schools Spectacular nationally, so the commercial networks (Nine and Seven) are following the trend.

I’m from WA and care about and would still like to see the School’s Spectacular.
Not really a fair statatent though considering you’ll just about watch anything that Seven serves up and your television only seems to operate on that frequency.

Oh come on!! Who wouldn’t want to see all the talent these students have and I’m just pointing out that I’m sure people from other places would be interested in it, not just me. You don’t have to try and make this about me; I was talking on a general sort of basis. Well you are really going to like hearing that in the coming weeks, I’m getting one of those ratings boxes installed at my house so now I am going to be part of the survey and you can bet which of the channels will be getting used the most.

But it’s not as though one person will really affect the results though; let’s be honest. I’ll just carry on doing what I was doing, watching what I want to watch. You can’t force me to watch something I don’t want to watch.
