Seven Network - Programs and Schedules

Does Seven have any US Studio Output Deals Anymore? I don’t think they do!!! Why? Because they don’t rate well Enough!!!

I think you would know if you had one

How would you know if you had one? Aren’t they supposed to be completely random so people DON’T know if they have one or not and giving people the chance to potentially collaborate to rig the ratings system in favour of a particular network, possibly…

Because it’s a physical box connected to your tv?

Seven only has one output deal left: Disney. Seven let the other one with NBC Universal lapse a couple of years ago, which is why Nine is able to show NBC shows like Chicago Med and old shows like House now.

According to the revised Sydney guide just received, the AFL is not being shown on any channel in Sydney but the same movie will be seen at 7pm on 7 and 7Mate ! Obviously a mistake that would mean the the AFL will be on the main channel at 7pm with the preview on 7Mate at 6.30pm.

Do we know about Perth? You’d think after the epic game on Saturday night that Seven Perth would play the GWS v West Coast game on the main channel too, also so it can be in HD.

Pretty sure Seven has deals with Sony Pictures & Warner Bros as well?

As mentioned in a Canberra Times article the other week, when discussing the content for new regional channel 7flix.

The latter being a fairly new deal.

Disney is obviously their staple/longest.

Since when?

That would be for movies, not program supply. Programs from those studios are one off or package purchases not entire output deals.

Maybe OzTam came in and installed a ratings box on your television and you didn’t notice it was there. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: except for when the box asks you which people are in the room and you hadn’t wondered what that was all about. :joy:

Don’t be jealous. They may make one for you too if they keep this up.

…And we’ve found the worst take on this site

Still has the rights To Family Guy and American Dad which is going to air on Thursday night

You see, I’ve been told that before and would agree logically.

But I’ve always seen movies from the same studio that a network has an output deal with, air on that same network (and still do).

Examples:

•21st Century Fox (programs & films): Ten > The Simpsons, “Taken” (2008), etc.

•Sony (programs & films): Seven > Seinfeld, “Spider Man 2” (2004)

•Warner Bros (programs & films): Nine > The Big Bang Theory, “Harry Potter” (2001)

So a coincidence then? Or do I have some truth?
