I’ve been enjoying Millionaire UK. A shame it got pulled after just two episodes. I know it was down from last week, but it got 539k last night, which is okay ratings wise. But understand that Seven wanted more.
The 1% Club, a show that i love watching too, but Seven better be careful. before over using it as any filler they got.

I found many of the questions very UK focused, more so than say The Chase UK or The 1% Club UK. Maybe that’s why it didn’t have mass appeal?
Maybe try it in the daytime instead?

True. That’s one possibility (re UK focused questions).
It could work in a daytime slot. Not sure if a daily airing would work. Seven can trial it out on a Friday at 2pm, or even in place of The Chase UK on a Friday. Or on 7Two after one of many UK based dramas.

Annette Sharp’s column this week reports that a search is underway to find a replacement program for the 5pm slot.
It also says that Seven have got a team working on pitching the new afternoon show, which will include advertorials, with Alex Cullen or Natarsha Belling favoured to front it.
Anthony De Ceglie is onboard with the idea of turning Seven into a news channel in daylight hours.

That is not really the issue, as above the overtly UK focus and also consistent use of UK currency would have been turn-offs for possible viewers. Not a prime-time program for the middle of survey period.

Huge losing margin for The Chase on Thursday helped Nine News win the night. Tipping Point had its third highest rating of the year. Seven is definitely going to have to act.

NBC has axed three shows that have been part of Seven’s schedule in the past couple of years: The Irrational, Suits: LA, and Lopez v Lopez.
Such high expectations on Suits LA. I’m assuming the plot line never concluded in the last episode.
