Aren’t we all. ![]()
Na sorry just Channel 7 trying to get Gordon Viewers just because Ten has him on.
I don’t know why they bother because he’s never been a drawcard for them. Worked on Nine for a while and stunt casting on Ten but never on Seven that I can recall. They’d be better investing in more Pete or Manu.

Front Bar (presume it’ll be live like last year, so there can be a neat transition from the football)? It’ll give Footy Show a free kick being late night, but will also boost Seven’s late shares.
A three and a half hour film? Wowzers. My guess: Titanic?
The AFL Footy Show will be shown on the Wednesday against Modern Family and Instinct, as shown on Nine Network schedules thread.
Whoops
Just when you think they’re gone…here they come again ![]()
Titanic (1997) has a run time of 195 minutes. So unless Seven plan on running 15 minutes of advertising across three and a half hours, I doubt it.
NB/ When the film aired on 7flix earlier this year, it was in a four hour time slot.
It’ll be one of the Pirates movies, since they’re airing on Sat nights here in Sydney. So whichever one they’re up to (think it’s no 3) that week.
Of course, you’re right. “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End” (2007) it should be. Run time: 2hrs 49min (was criticised at the time too), leaving 41min of ads, making a 3 and a half hour broadcast. What a marathon viewing! ![]()
@Bort was also indeed right, in asserting it wouldn’t be “Titanic” which does go for nearly 3 and a half hours in itself.
Splitting Up Together
Premieres Wednesday 13 June 9:45 pm with double episode.

08:45 PM Modern Family x 2 Rpt
09:45 PM First Dates UK
08:45 PM Modern Family S9 Ep 10 and 11
09:45 PM Modern Family x 2 Rpt
Brave move to show double new episodes of Modern Family against State of Origin.
Expect 9-1-1 or 800 Words to take the Monday slot once Mentor ends.
It’s not attracting any great figures anyway, may as well play it out. Plenty of viewers in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth are not interested in Rugby.
Well that’s okay because it’s League. ![]()
Then Seven needs to start promoting either show now.
My point being that viewers in these markets are not interested in any variation of Rugby. If they see the word “Rugby” in a TV guide they are not going to tune in.
Apparently they started 9-1-1 promos last night. 800 Words returns in NZ next month so it’ll have to come back before then.
