It might. Malpratice S2 will on SBS on Demand November 6.
The ratings suggest another season might be worth considering, I suppose it comes down to whether they can get it on air in 26 or 27
The same article also briefly mentioned Seven’s upfronts presentation in Melbourne today.
Fevola was not part of Seven’s Upfront presentation in Melbourne at The Glasshouse on Friday, where they announced their 2026 format including hosting the Commonwealth Games, with talent including 7News sports presenter Rebecca Maddern, AFL commentator Hamish McLachlan and Australian Idol’s Ricki Lee Coulter in attendance.
Karina Carvalho has posted photos from last week’s upfronts presentation in Melbourne on social media.

The Chase returns Monday 19 Jan.
Australian Idol begins Monday 2 Feb.
Agro would need a “straight guy” sidekick.. maybe Chris Brown? Though he did host Tonight Live alone a few times.
I get the sense that Jamie Dunn may be trying to “Hey Hey-ify” Agro by essentially reviving the kind of dynamic seen on Cartoon Connection—such as having a female co-host—but reimagined specifically for an adult audience in a late-night time slot.
Some of the compilations of Agro outtakes have been immensely popular on those “reaction” vlogs (if that’s what they’re called) on YouTube.
…Yes, but I highly doubt Seven are discussing a potential adult reboot purely because of the view counts on compilation clips or reaction videos, no matter how far or wide those circulate.
If Dunn still believes he can make Agro work for an older audience, then all the best to him — but you only need to look at Seven’s first attempt at adapting a similar dynamic for primetime (Perfect Match), or the puppet ‘agony aunt’ role on The Daily Edition, to see how this is likely to play out.
I’m not suggesting for Agro, but I’d love to see 7 try a late night type show again. In the vein of Tonight Live but for the current day. Start and finish with news headlines. Monday - Thursday nights.
it mentions
After Easter Seven will roll-out around 10 major shows, which also means there is no single reality show will be stripped across Q2
So I wonder how 7 will program their week after Easter
I know it’s almost impossible to compare with figures from 5 years ago with the change of VOZ, but if audiences on 7 and 9 are up on 5 years ago, then it’s defying trends in almost every other FTA market around the world, and frankly I’d be astonished if it was actually the case.
I can assure you we’re not bucking the trend.
ACMA wrote in 2024…
We continue to see shifts in viewership away from traditional linear TV services to subscription services, with more Australians watching paid streaming services in 2024. For the first time since 2017, less than half of Australians watched free-to-air (FTA) TV (excluding catch-up TV), and almost as many watched FTA streaming services. If this trend continues, watching FTA streaming may overtake watching FTA TV (excluding catch-up) in the coming years.
Update from upfronts:
When is this expected to air?
New show? But I doubt it will make it to air in 2026. I guess they are hoping for it to be a hit like 1% since it’s meant to be a weekly prime time show
