You could even argue it is the fourth reboot considering it was initially a mini series and Nine decided to proceed with an ongoing series following its success.
Yeah. Nah. The series was pretty much an extension of the mini-series with many characters continuing on.
RFDS was a complete overhaul. It was technically a spinoff. They filmed it in a different location and had almost a completely new cast. I think the only characters who varied over where Maurie Fields and Val Jellay running the pub.
Another new show, Plate of origin
Its a global food cuisine fight
Seven promising 8:30pm starts?
Mega Mini Golf? I know Holey Moley is taken in this country but they could’ve come up with something better than that.
All new Monty: Guys and Gals !
Got Talent… again
No Current Affairs at all for the East Coast. Today Tonight stays for Perth and Adelaide.
Got Talent: Repeat Offenders
No comedy and no variety either
To take a leaf out of @Danny_Wu’s book!
Wow! You know you are in trouble when Britain’s Got Talent is on the billboard of upcoming shows.
Who Dares Wins is back (in name only?)
There is Fam Time, the scripted comedy series. But that’s the only one.
Clearly named by someone with no taste in comedy
A pity Ermington Putt Putt closed as it would have been the perfect location for this. Dural Putt Putt is still open though!
It already is a female targeted channel?
Of all channels to refresh this is bizarre IMO. 7Two as old as the hills now and 7food a failure. 7mate and 7flix rate in the key demos and have a good ID.
Unless they want to ditch the ‘movies’ perception and completely blow-up the barely 4 year old channel and/or target total people more?
This smells of throw enough shit against the wall and hopefully something will stick.
Do we really need a new cooking show? Viewers will see this as just desperation.
There’s nothing in that schedule thats remotely worth watching. Maybe the dramas at a stretch. The olympics will be the only saving grace for seven.
