The women’s Twenty20 tri-series between Australia, England and India begins in Canberra next Friday afternoon (January 31) when the two visiting teams face off. That match will be shown live and in HD on 7mate from 2pm AEDT.

And the incorrect BBL promos continue in Brisbane. At 6.45 last night during 7News, the promo said “next on 7mate”. No, it was next on 7. Not sure which market that promo was for, but it wasn’t Qld.

Noted now the Super Bowl is being advertised in Qld as AEDT. This is just crap. Personalise it for the local market. Do Adelaide and Perth get the same promos?

It’s because Seven has its hands full covering other sporting events at the same time (see Seven Sport thread).
That means in South Australia, the women’s T20 match between Australia and India will air on 7flix from 1.20pm local time.

They are lucky to have 7 fix otherwise the game next Sunday would have showed a delayed telecast

Seven News at 4pm was not shown. Its 5pm and no signs of going to The Chase (bummer!).
Big Bash simulcast on Seven and 7Mate.
No 4pm news in Brisbane either. No simulcast though.

The cricket was simulcast in Melbourne in its entirety on Seven and 7mate as well.
With the Renegades’ seven wicket win over the Heat this afternoon, this season’s BBL finals schedule is now set. The Thunder claim the last finals spot and will face the Hurricanes in Hobart this Thursday night.
All matches will be shown live on Seven and 7mate.
