Seven Cricket Coverage

Yes, but those broadcasters would have their own streaming platforms and ways to watch.

But don’t they all take the same world feed?

If they talked about it pre game then that’s not broadcast on the world feed. It’s only the game broadcast that goes ‘around the world’

They were probably saying that you can watch 7+ anywhere (for Aus viewers)

It was during the game.

Doesn’t Fox have the world feed anyway?

Nope. Fox is world for Men’s internationals. 7 is world feed for women’s internationals and WBBL & BBL (except the 10 Fox exclusive)

Interesting that only the 1st hour of the afternoon session AND all of the evening session are on the main channel, but 4-7pm is on 7mate (in NSW).

But a good thing its on 7 at all, unlike the mens ODIs, which are on FOX/Kayo only.

And interesting to note the scorebar is different to the WBBL one. Looks more like Sevens traditional format, still looks good though.

7 has 3 different scorebugs.

• W/BBL which is the black bug with team colour highlights
• Women’s Internationals which is what we saw vs NZ & now vs India
• Men’s & Women’s Tests which is essentially the same as women’s internationals but with majority white (because it’s test cricket i guess)

Nicho in today to start the match off, is he subbed in for Tim Lane?

They could be swapping between the 2? Could also be because Lane does do all the games during the summer. Iirc in the previous summers with 5+ Test matches, Lane did 4. But it was always Nicholson doing the last test of the summer

7 & Fox would be hoping that Australia bats better than in Perth on day 1 when they get the chance

No Tim Lane today!!

Yep as mentioned above he’s absent this Test.

JB’s just not good, his call of the hundred was quickly edited before being replayed soon after.

Difference between Nicho’s lyricism and JB’s shouting is stark.

Would love a Lane, Nicho and Ali team.

Another disappointing result for Seven as far as potential lost ratings go. With just 19 runs to get it looks like there won’t be a even a third day of prime time cricket for this test.

The first 2 days were brilliant, giving Seven its best Friday and Saturday shares this year and helping them win the week. Imagine if they had 2 or 3 more day to start this week.

It will be interesting to see if Seven simulcast the women’s ODI between Australia and India on both main channel and 7mate for the rest of this afternoon.
