The Federal Court will hear Seven’s pre-discovery claim against CA on March 15 next year and will decide if the broadcaster can get access to confidential documents and correspondence between CA, BCCI, state governments and Fox Sports. CA is also understood to have filed its own affidavit claiming Seven is trying to apply commercial pressure by leaking to the media.
So what’s the point really from Seven’s point of view. It will be so late that it won’t really make a difference!
It will now decide if Seven wants to cover the 2021-22 season, which will include the lucractive Ashes series.
Peter Siddle, who took his BBL best 5-16 for Adelaide Strikers in their win over Hobart last night, is providing commentary next to Melbourne Stars bench.
Haven’t seen this mentioned here, looks decent from Seven, without being too cheesy or overdone.
Even though it looks like they are trying to get out of cricket, they are actually trying and producing good stuff.
like the great interview between Virat Kohli and Steve Smith on 7cricket during the rain break at tonight’s Big Bash.
Given that the full 30 min video and feature article is on the cricket.com.au website, I don’t think this was produced by 7. However, it makes for very good filler for 7 to use during any rain breaks this summer.
And he is providing coverage of the weather and conditions on the boundary, done well so far and joined by Abbey Gelmi she’s the host.
Not a 7 or Fox production. It’s made by CN and made available to the broadcasters to use.
Mel McLaughlin, Ricky Ponting, Damien Fleming, James Brayshaw, Simon Katich, Sunil Gavaskar, Greg Blewett, Alison Mitchell and Tim Lane are at the Adelaide Oval for the 1st Test against India.
Trent Copeland and Michael Slater are at the touchscreen inside a studio based in Adelaide.
Former umpire Simon Taufel is joining the coverage to give some expert analysis, presumably from his home.
Good to see Seven sending most of their hosts and commentators to the ground itself for the tests, as opposed to putting them all in a studio.
Why don’t they fly him into Adelaide?
Like the idea of using an umpire for analysis.
Slater is at the ground. So I think the studio is at Adelaide Oval
7 with a DRS timer but it’s in a pretty bad spot, they should probably move it either under their 7sport logo or to the other side
The commbank logo annoys me…JUST CENTRE IT!
The Indian blue makes these graphics look even more like ‘7 News Does Cricket’ than they usually do. Hideous.
Cricket writers Peter Lalor and Gideon Haigh will be on the couch on day 2 and day 4 of the Adelaide test against India.
Seven’s Adelaide ‘studio’ is located in the Adelaide Crows’ changing rooms.
