Seven AFL Coverage

Delayed at 3.05pm?

Live. Freo v Port will be played at 8pm, not on 7.

I wonder if the Gold Coast v Adelaide match will have Fox or Seven commentary.

It’ll have Seven

It’s a foxtel game - fox Commentory

it has been changed to a channel seven match now though

I would assume Fox would remain the host broadcaster as they are already doing the 2nd game from Metricon for day. Doesn’t mean 7 can’t do their own commentary out of Melbourne tho.

yeah that is what I am saying… because they don’t need to be at the ground they can easily take on the broadcast. As for the boundary commentator, whoever does Brisbane v West Coast tonight will go to the Gold Coast tomorrow.

I wonder what happens in SA. This was to be one of the Fox exclusively live games back into SA. (3 hour delay on 7)

Game starts at 2.35pm CST now so my guess is it will air on a 1 hour delay on Seven into Adelaide.

The Freo v Port game at 7.40pm CST will probably be moved to 7mate so Big Brother can air on the main channel.

Luke Hodge and Ryan Daniels are live from the Gabba for Sevens match Brisbane v West Coast today. I think they’ll go down the highway to Metricon Stadium tomorrow and feature on the broadcast.

Suns-Crows clash now on Seven after Essendon v Melbourne postponed

LVE and FREE at 2.30pm AEST on Sunday

Fans can now enjoy tomorrow’s Gold Coast-Adelaide encounter LIVE and FREE on Seven following the postponement of Essendon and Melbourne’s round three match.

Seven’s broadcast of the Suns-Crows clash at Metricon Stadium kicks off at 2.30pm AEST Sunday on Channel 7 after the game’s scheduled start time was pushed back.

The changes to Sunday’s AFL fixture also mean Seven’s coverage of Fremantle v Port Adelaide will be shown on 7mate at the later start time of 7.30pm in Adelaide and 6.00pm in Perth.

TV Broadcast times on Seven:

Sunday June 21
Gold Coast v Adelaide, Metricon Stadium

Seven might as well air the entire match on 7mate if they’re going to go down that path.

Don’t know why but they often do really stupid/illogical channel swaps - this is another example of that

Same (or even worse) this afternoon; covering racing across the afternoon on the main channel until 4:30 when a police factual comes on and racing viewers have to change to SD 7Two. Makes no sense to me.

This afternoon’s Gold Coast v Adelaide game is rated MA15+ according to the Foxtel EPG…

Seven are taking the Fox Footy feed and commentary for Gold Coast v Adelaide. Very rare to see Fox on- screen graphics on Seven in Melbourne.

Aren’t Seven meant to be producing?

Darce or JB even said at the end of last night “BT will have to throw out all the papers and prepare for this one now” or something.

Who knows what the current broadcast rights say about this situation, maybe Seven tried but it had to be Foxtel’s call and they refused?

The same occurred in 2015 when Seven took the Essendon vs St Kilda match (on a 2hr10min delay) in lieu of the Adelaide Crows vs Geelong Cats match that was cancelled due to Phil Walsh’s death.

On that occasion, Seven had their own pre-game, half-time and full-time segments (similar to what would be seen outside Victoria when Seven televised a local team’s match that was produced by Foxtel between 2007-11).
