Looks a bit like an emergency lower third if the usual one fails.
And yes, that scenario materialized.

Two things from last night’s post-game about Seven’s GF coverage next Saturday:
- The traditional North Melbourne GF Breakfast will air this year on 7Plus rather than Fox Footy, which has showed it for many a year until now; and
- Not sure whether this was an error. However, Abbey Holmes mentioned Seven’s coverage next week will go until 8pm AEST which suggests there’ll be lengthy post-game coverage on 7mate.

Why not on the main channel? It’s not like they have anything better to show
If the NRL has no scheduled games, you might as well encroach that hour.

5.00-6.00pm: Post Match Presentation (Seven)
6.00-8.00pm: Post Match (7Mate)
That’s very lengthy. But will people on the East switch over to 7Mate for a 2 hour post match segment? Or just stick with Seven for the News? I wonder if Perth will have the “Post Match” on the main channel until their News starts at 6pm?

Hamish is back today for Collingwood v Brisbane. Luke Hodge also returns for pre-match.
Can somebody post a Chris Fagan cap or GIF, 3:14 to go mark/ad break on FTA just then… Got to love to see it, what a super
coach and just what a team!
Early 2000s vibes about this mob and probably should’ve won 2023 too against this same opponent, they get some revenge back and it’ll be teary scenes for the black and white like 2002 in a minute ![]()
AFL and Seven will be happy. NRL and Nine will be praying for similar with Storm.

Thank God some producer realized that you can add a human touch to this message instead of the lifeless “To continue watching the footy”.
I’ll forgive them for the two to’s.

7mate’s Grand Final EPG continues to claim postgame coverage ends at 7pm AEST.
We’ll have to wait for Seven’s guidance, which will be out Wednesday.
The schedules confirm my suspicion back then: It has been discontinued.
It will stream live on 7plus from 9.10am AEST.
