Abbey said in media interviews that she and husband Keegan Brooksby found out that herself was pregnant, a few weeks after returning from home from running the New York Marathon. Abbey added that she would remain a key part of Seven’s AFL coverage in 2025 “before enjoying everything that motherhood throws at me.”

AFL 2025 Promo just aired during the BBL Coverage tonight and was that even seen in New South Wales and Queensland as Well as Australian Capital Territory?

With 7’s promo for the new season being targeted towards more younger demographics compared to older people with the choice of music, the player celebrations used in the promo & graffiti etc, I wonder what type of scorebug, score graphics and general graphics they might use for their broadcast.
I’m thinking a complete overhaul from what they currently have (which I actually like). The big question will be if they will move away from that bottom left corner scorebug that they have been since like 2007

Any word on whether Seven is broadcasting the Indigenous All Stars v Fremantle game on February 15?

If they do then they could test out their new graphics with the viewers and make any necessary changes. Same with Fox
Disappointing this is not on FTA but understandable under the current rights deal.
Given it is the Indigenous All-Stars the AFL should perhaps lobby NITV to be allowed to simulcast the Fox coverage.

Great that it’s targeting younger audiences but I have no idea what’s on and when. The names of the new shows are lost in amongst the rest of the promo.

How many of the new shows are on 7 how many on 7mate & how many will be on 7plus only!!
Well, let’s just say the last 7Plus only AFL program(s) were axed and the network is arguably drawing the weakest live vod share in the space. Of course, top content people will seek and should drive up ratings, but the very much broadcast-centric Seven might be best sticking to broadcast for all their AFL shows, TBH. 7Plus also drew, mostly, disappointing ratings for its first cricket summer.
The final 2 test matches did regularly get 100k+ on 7+. I think max was 172k
