Season One, Episode One:
Episode one recounts how several unsuccessful attempts were made to locate the wreck including by a salvage treasure hunter. Then, in the 1980’s, Texan oil billionaire Jack Grimm used his money to fund the latest sonar and camera technology to attempt to find the ship. He even tries to take a pet monkey on the expedition.Grimm’s missions were hampered by misunderstandings about the position of the liner when it sank and whether it was still in one piece. Finally, Grimm thinks he has found part of the propeller, but has he?
