SBS is emphasising streaming live its shows on SBS on Demand, rather than watching them on TV.

Their mobile and TV apps seem to moving in a similar direction to 10, with the main network brand in the app icons.
For now, the names of the apps, and branding inside the apps, is still SBS On Demand.

I got a feeling SBS 2 will be back to it’s Orange colour when it returns in the next few months
Just waiting for SBS to drop ‘SBS’ from the SBS FOOD watermark. It’s the odd one out for god sake!
It seems they’ve started to push streaming rather than linear.
Alone Australia has a “Stream Tomorrow 7:30pm” tag in the promo. Same with the last World News promo.

And also, let’s hope a new set of idents for it and its spin-off channels will have a new set of idents in the style of different bands’ music videos. For SBS, it would have a new set of IDs in the style of White Stripes music videos. SBS2 (once it comes back as the new name of Viceland) would have a new set of them in the style of Radiohead videos. World Movies would have a set of them in the style of Robbie Williams videos. Food would have a set of them in the style of U2 videos. WorldWatch would have a set of them in the style of Blur videos and NITV would have a set of them in the style of Yothu Yindi vids. Would it sound cool?
