What a performance by the Wallabies tonight. In the first rugby union match at Perth’s Optus Stadium, the Wallabies stunned the All Blacks 47-26, in front of the biggest ever attendance for any sport at the venue - 61,241. The All Blacks were hampered by Scott Barrett sent off on the stroke of half time over a shoulder charge.

However New Zealand will retain the Bledisloe Cup for another year if they beat the Wallabies at Eden Park in Auckland next week.

The All Blacks thrashed the Wallabies 36-0 Eden Park, thus retaining the Bledisloe Cup for 17 years in a row. Why is it so hard for overseas teams to win at the venue?

Because Australia isn’t good at rugby?

What a match that was. Japan’s defence in the last 20 minutes was outstanding.

Japan have now won 2 out of 2 matches.
Also. Uruguay have recorded an upset win over Fiji 30-27 in Kamaishi. Uruguay recorded it’s first RWC win since the 2003 Tournament. It was also Uruguay’s first win against a Pacific Islander country.

Went fishing on Friday with a couple of Fijians, they were very quiet about the rugby, not happy at all… Well done to Uruguay though
