Moana Pasifika’s last ever match was a shock 21-19 defeat of the Brumbies in Canberra. The loss meant the Brumbies finished sixth and had to travel to Wellington next week to face the Hurricanes.

Super Rugby finals opened tonight with a belting.
Hurricanes smashed ACT Brumbies - the same team that lost to Moana Pacifika on the last regular-season day - by 54 points. The game was already over at halftime with a 38-7 scoreline.
Hurricanes’ Ngane Punivai scored game-high three tries, all in the final 20 minutes.
Super Rugby finals week one concluded today, with big wins by Crusaders over Blues, and by Chiefs over Queensland Reds.
The results means both Brumbies and Reds have been eliminated and the Super Rugby title remains in New Zealand for another year.

Australian women’s team have claimed the 2025/26 SVNS World Series title after winning the Bordeaux final against arch-rival New Zealand.
France defeated New Zealand in the men’s final in Bordeaux but South Africa won the men’s overall title. Australia finished fourth in the standings.

Each Anzac Day test will form part of a three-test Bledisloe Cup series in 2027, 2029 and 2031, with the remaining two matches played as part of The Rugby Championship later each year, with New Zealand hosting one match, and Australia, the other.
In 2028 and 2030, the Bledisloe Cup will remain a two-match series, due to Nations Championship commitments.
EDIT: Brisbane will host a Bledisloe Cup test on these dates.

Ireland have beaten the Wallabies 33-31 in Sydney.
The Wallabies lost their second Nations Championship match in a row, going down to France 42-26 in Brisbane. The home side led 21-12 at half time, but the reigning Six Nations champions piled on 30 points in the second half while restricting Australia to a single try.
