The British and Irish Lions won the test series against Australia 2-1, despite losing the third test 22-12 tonight in Sydney. It was the only loss the visitors suffered during their six week stay Down Under.
The Lions won their first test series since Australia 2013.
The match at Accor Stadium was halted early in the second half due to lightning, and did not resume for around 40 minutes.
Lions second rower Tadhg Beirne was named the Tom Richards Player of the Series.
At last Saturdayâs second test at the MCG, the 90,307 match attendance was a record crowd for a British & Irish Lions match, and the MCGâs record largest rugby union crowd.
