However, the most heated incident occurred on the sideline, with the backrower needing to be restrained by South Sydney officials during a verbal altercation with Canterbury supporters.
No, PVL wants the government green. NZ probably won’t give him any.
That’s why Western Australia are being screwed over - he’s not getting enough of a license fee from the Bears, and think he can work over the wests in the same way he did PNG (i.e. getting the feds to pay for shit).
Also, he can stop with the idea of buying into the UK Super League too.
Are you here @ElCapitanCranky ?
Looks like the Sharks are going to comfortably win the @Radiohead trophy this year.
33,000 km and six trips for my first live Sharkies win since 2023! I’m happy right now
Isn’t it ironic, don’t you think? Spend all that dough seeking a win and the answer was right in your backyard
I know! It’s like 10,000 spoons and all you need is a knife
Cute
Why is that cute?

Headlined by the largest crowd for a standalone regular season fixture of 65,305 at Accor Stadium for Friday’s Bulldogs-Rabbitohs clash, Round 7 of the NRL was the most attended round of matches in premiership history.
Also
The attendance records in the NRL came on the same weekend that Super League attracted the highest aggregate crowds for a round of matches since the European competition switched to summer in 1996.
The two competitions attracted a combined total of 304,913 fans, with:
- NRL Round 7 crowds totalling 218,833 (average 27,354), and;
- Super League Round 8 crowds totalling 86,080 (average 14,347)
Dolphins v Rabbitohs to be played in Round 17 on the Saturday at 7.50 to make up after the one missed thanks to dear old Alfred. It will follow Broncos V Warriors at the same venue at 3pm.
I’d guess Fox are airing it.
I often wonder with these Good Friday games how many of those are walk ups who had gone to the Royal Easter Show.
I doubt it, but I think yes, the crowd figures would have been enhanced by people planning to go to both on the same day.
The teams for next Thursday’s Women’s State of Origin game 1 were announced today.
You guys got a big 60k crowd! Maybe you’ll be a big sport too one day!
At least we are played in more than one country
Hey, it’s the national sport of Nauru mate!
Its been a shocker from the Dogs so far, playing more like wooden spooners. This is their first game outside of Sydney so far this year!
