Rugby League

Hi all, I’ve started an NRL Tipping Competition.

All are welcome to participate and join in on the fun

They’ll still be better role models than those leading the country that Las Vegas is in :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Don’t know about that. At least the Raiders can blame CTE. Trump can’t, i doubt he’s done anything remotely atheltic in his life aside from golf (which doesn’t count, he uses a golf buggy) and tennis (I’ve seen his fat arse on that pictire before).

Maybe the NRL need to employ more minders when they send them to that part of the globe.

I remember he attracted plenty of interest from the NRL during the 2005 Tri-Nations series.

He was originally going to play for the Gold Coast Titans in their inaugural season from 2007 after a one-season stint with the Newcastle Knights in 2006, only to return to England after that season IIRC.

I have to wonder. What is the point of having the Rugby League launch in Las Vegas every year now? Is it just to attract the overseas gambling that they do this? Who is funding all the teams and officials going over there and the costs of the venues? Is the NRL making money on this or does it just benefit Las Vegas tourism?

According to News Crap, it has been bringing in some money. As for PVL, you can make any number of guesses, and they’re all feasible - he has that “means justfies the ends” look to hm.

Mam spoke for the first time today, since he made a public apology at a December court appearance for his infamous car crash.

Sports gambling - and a fun weekend for Aussies/NZers.

Any pretence of growing the game there is a fallacy.

You will be interested to know that you will be able to listen to SEN’s live match call of both NRL matches at Allegiant Stadium via the SEN app.

How does that actually work?
And if you do stream it’s up to 2 minutes behind.
Does it connect to something in stadium?
Because I’m flat out getting reception anywhere near a stadium.

I’m guessing using something like Sports Ears?

Not yet, but I should have! A bottle of water in my hotel was… wait for it… $8 USD… i kid you not… (a beer by comparison in the hotel bar was $12).
