Another more realistic hypothetical scenario is for Wave FM to model itself more on River 94.9, which plays a wide variety of music that is older demographic friendly & provides a more clear point of difference to i98FM & the fortuitous signal of sister station Power FM from Nowra.
In last year’s Wollongong ratings, the only demographics where Wave FM outrate i98FM is in the 55-64s & 65+, so surely, it should make sense for them to go more older than they currently do, whether they model it more towards Zinc or River.
