Ratings: World Cup Cricket draws highest multi-channel audience of 2019

Last night’s 9Gem audience of 380,000 for session one of the World Cup match between Australia and Pakistan is the highest rated multichannel program of 2019 so far.

It helped Nine secure an easy network victory in Wednesday night’s TV ratings while over on 10, MasterChef secured its highest audience so far this season.

Seven had the highest rating channel with 17.4% but 9Gem’s 10.7% share saw Nine’s network share of 31.7% easily win ahead of Seven on 25.4%, Ten 21.2%, ABC 15.7% and SBS with 6.1%.

In the key demographic groups, Nine had the highest network share while 10 had the highest rated channel thanks to good performances from MasterChef and Five Bedrooms .
