Across its first two weeks - National Total TV Reach of 8.6 million - an increase of 10.3% year-on-year.
The First Dinner Party of the season recorded an Overnight audience of 495,000 on 9Now, growing a whopping +52% year-on-year. This is the highest ever non-sporting BVOD audience across CFTA in VOZ history.
The series to date has recorded a National Average Total TV Audience of 2.2million viewers per episode - up 16.7% year-on-year.
2025 AUSTRALIAN OPEN
National Total TV Reach of 13.1 million - up 1.9% year-on-year.
The Men’s and Women’s Finals were the highest performing matches of the tournament.
The Women’s Final saw the highest Total TV Audience since 2022, with 1.508 million people tuning into watch the match (+15.9% YoY).
The Men’s Final recorded the highest ever BVOD Audience for the Australian Open of 384,000 (+17.3% YoY). The Men’s Final saw a Total TV Audience of 2.040 million.
Outside of the Finals, the most popular session of the tournament was the Night Session with an average Total TV audience on Channel 9 of 872k, an increase of +4.5% YoY**.** The BVOD Audience for this session on Channel 9 has grown significantly YoY, increasing +44.7%.
The Day Session recorded YoY growth of +11.4% on Channel 9 Total TV.
9Now’s dedicated live streaming of all courts saw significant YoY growth of +22.5% YoY (based on average audience throughout tournament).
