Just a couple of percent separated the three commercial networks on Wednesday night. Seven had the edge on 25.3%, 0.3% ahead of Nine with 10 on 23.0%.
Nine was number one in the three east coast markets with Seven ahead in Adelaide and Perth. 10 ranked second in Melbourne and Adelaide and won the key demographic groups.
In 25-54, 10 averaged 28.6% ahead of Nine (25.6%), Seven (25.1%), ABC (14.6%) and SBS (6.2%)
In 16-39, 10’s share was higher at 31.9% with Seven second on 25.5%, then Nine (23.1%), ABC (14.0%) and SBS (5.4%).
Nine currently lead the week with 27.0% ahead of Seven on 26.2%.
This was little changed from the previous Wednesday with MasterChef again the top entertainment show ahead of the mid season final of Hard Quiz that also made the top 10. The premiere episode of ABC’s At Home Alone Together did well with 466,000.
10 won the key demos thanks to MasterChef and The Project at 7pm that both won their timeslots. The Project ranked 6th in 25-54, ahead of Home and Away 7th and A Current Affair 8th. Next best was Paramedics in 9th and The Project 6.30 in 10th. Also in the mix The Secrets She Keeps was 14th, the season final of Doctor Doctor 15th and Britain’s Got Talent 18th.
