ABC’s Hard Quiz (698,000) and Shaun Micallef’s Mad As Hell (622,000) were the top entertainment programs in the the Wednesday overnight ratings.
However, the Nine Network won the night, up two points from the previous week as Seven lost ground. It was Nine’s best Wednesday result for a month while Seven posted its lowest Wednesday result since March.
In a familiar pattern, Nine won the east coast with Seven winning Adelaide and Perth.
In the 25-54 demo Nine was first with 28.1%, 10 second with 26.4% ahead of Seven (21.1%), ABC (16.1%) and SBS (8.2%).
In 16-39, 10 won with 28.5% leading from Nine (26.7%), Seven (19.8%), ABC (16.8%) and SBS (8.3%).
10 Bold with 5.3% posted its highest overnight share of the 2020 survey.
While ABC’s shows were number one in total people The Bachelor topped the three demographic groups despite dropping 90,000 from the previous Wednesday.
Rosehaven finished its season with 500,00 – its second highest result of the year. Emergency on Nine and Highway Patrol on Seven were both down slightly from the previous week.
Over on Foxtel, Gogglebox (202,000) was up on the equivalent season of 2019 that had 184,000.
