Iāve seen this a lot in Germany. (The gladwrap over the microphone) I get that itās because of COVID, but what difference does it make. It just looks pretty shit.

Presumably they remove & re-wrap before/when the next person gets that micā¦ but is it completely encased?
(Iāve never tried to use a mic covered like thatā¦) how much of the sound would be blocked/muffled, and does it sound distorted at all?
