Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh Death (1921-2021)

A live blog on the abc has just been set up around 55 minutes ago roughly.

Morbid as it is, the articles surely would’ve been prepared for well in advance?

Especially at Nine, who I’d imagine have been scrambling to compile decent obituary packages tonight…

CBSN on the CBS News app.

Is the world on the abc news 24 going ahead tonight or is it cancelled.

Any coverage on Australian radio?

BBC has gone with rolling coverage on pretty much all radio channels. Listening to their app from here in Aus obviously.

ABC News has now renamed the next couple of hours as “Prince Phillip 1921-2021”.

It’s rather morbid, but these things are updated every year ready for broadcast.

It’s not just a 99 year old. It is a senior royal family member who just been around for years and is well known throughout the world.

Agree. You cannot argue how historic this is. It’s a moment in time. It needs to be covered seriously and comprehensively.
