Looks interesting… The talking heads look off, are they infront of a green screen?
I read some comments about it looking like a school project or how they are not suppose to look like they’re acting?
I guess the Melbourne Cup episode will be different and unique to Aus audiences. I don’t mind Felicity she’s def the female Michael Scott but the rest of the cast I’ll have to see.

They’ve done this on purpose.

Pretty much. But the US version seemed to mimic/remake the original more. This looks more original apart from the fact it is also shot as if it’s a documentary.
I vuess i struggle with copies. The US Ghosts is better than the original but I can’t think of any others.

Looks pretty decent to me - not as good as the US Office, but then again, that one didn’t start with a bang, so I guess if they give it another season or two, it will grow and get better as production team fine tune stuff.

The US one only mimic’d it for a season and then retooled for season two and beyond into the successful show it became.
This looks to be a tough watch based on the trailer but I’ll take a look when it’s live.

Possibly running into the millions in damages if certified, the September 16 filing in LA Superior Court alleges that MrBeast and the Jeff Bezos created streamer “subjected the Contestants to unreasonable, unsafe, and unlawful employment conditions.” With claims of sexual harassment, failure to prevent harassment, false advertising, and failure to pay minimum wage or overtime, those conditions saw “several contestants …hospitalized,” the 54-page jury trial demanding document alleges.

Octavia Spencer, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Bryce Dallas Howard also appeared at the event.

It’s worth remembering given reaction to Prime Video’s trailer has been, well, polarising at best.
As Ward explains it, the rest of the world were furious at the thought of a US Office.
“Exactly the same thing happened. The first season came out, and they were exactly the same scripts, and people were still angry after the first season. And then the second season came out, where they had original scripts and it reflected their own American work culture, and it’s turned into one of the most beloved (comedies), if not more beloved, than the original,” she continues.
“They’re not even comparable. They’re both so brilliant, they’re both so extraordinary in what they bring to it. Lots of people that I’m doing interviews with, are talking to me as if this has never happened. This literally happened 20 years ago to the American Office. We’re doing what the American Office did 20 years ago, except we’ve got original scripts and original storylines.
“So it’s not like we’re doing something that hasn’t been done before. I mean, to be fair, this is the first time it’s a woman so it brings a little extra edge.”
