My take away is that it’s not all that different to watching it any other way. Only difference is no live channels as it were. I watch the Fox Channels through Kayo

Not a big one though tbf

You would be surprised at the number of Aussie players that are playing in the MLC this year. They seem to be pumping more and more money into it to get more big name players there. Plus, I think some of the teams are now IPL franchise teams.

Oh no I’m aware of the competition (it’s Pat Cummins’ comp playing for the Cricket Victoria-run Unicorns franchise), just saying it’s not as though Fox would have been pissed off they have lost/not gotten these rights.

South Africa will face India in the ICC T20 World Cup final in Bridgetown, Barbados, this Saturday (early Sunday morning in most of Australia).

I do wonder how many pubs and clubs would have been showing any of it. My guess not many

Don’t forget it started at 12:30am.

Optus had the venue rights and I’m guessing any pub who had Optus Sport would’ve been prioritising the Euros (Round of 16 started last night).

Interesting the announcement was made after the 2024 season started a couple of days ago.

This was announced before the season started. B+T just wrote about it now.

Not entirely correct, Prime only sent out a press release about it this morning.

The revised fixture for the Women’s T20 World Cup, to be held in United Arab Emirates instead of Bangladesh, was released today.

The afternoon games will begin at 2pm local time, while the evening games, semi-finals and final included, will begin at 6pm. (UAE time is six hours behind AEST, and seven hours behind AEDT, when daylight savings begin in NSW, ACT, VIC, SA and TAS on October 6)

The Australian squad was revealed yesterday.

Times shown in the schedule are in AEST up to and including October 5, and in AEDT from October 6 to the final on October 20.

Nah, it’ll be the same as Usman’s deal. Just some socials stuff and ambassador things.
